Who we are
WAGE (Wootton Against Gravel Extraction) is a community group of volunteers set up to fight proposed plans for a gravel quarry at Palmers Farm in the village of Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight.
All members give their time freely and we come from a cross section of the people living in the village. For us the most important thing is to stop this proposal before industrial mining for gravel ruins the rural character of our community.
